1912 Rare Antique 9 carat (375) Chester Gold Scottish Amethyst Thistle Brooch

The brooch has a stunning 9 carat (375) twin gold frame which has a full set of rare hallmarks with the wheat cheeves for Chester assay office, the .375 for 9 carat gold, makers J.M.&C and the date letter M for 1912. The thistle plume has a stunning facetted purple amethyst. The length is 4.5 cm, the pin and C clasp are in good working condition and original. Total weight 2.2g.
