ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHY – LARGE FORMAT – On the back sticker with negative number – title, year and place of the photo – hand signed – excellent condition – from the series “Picasso at the bullfight”
The photographer Hubertus Hierl was able to photograph Pablo Picasso during a bullfight in Fréjus (Southern France – 7.8.1966).
Werner Spies, Picasso expert and former director of the Centre Pompidou in Paris, writes in the book “Picasso at the Bullfight”: “Hubertus Hierl’s photographs show expectation, tension and fear … they show what Picasso sees and feels.”
